Quick Start

Sonar is privacy-friendly analytics with AI built in. This guide takes you from a new account to live data.

1. Create an account

Sign up with Google or GitHub. You don't need a credit card, and the Starter plan is free.

2. Add your site

From the dashboard, click Create Your First Site. Enter a name and your domain. See Create Your First Site for details.

3. Install the tracking code

Each site gets its own snippet with a unique site key:

Paste it into the <head> of every page. If you use a website builder, follow the guide for your platform:

• WordPress
• Wix
• Squarespace
• Shopify
• Anything else

4. Verify

Click Verify Now on the dashboard, or just visit your site and reload Sonar. Your first pageviews usually appear within a minute.

Tip: If verification is blocked by Cloudflare or a firewall, it doesn't mean tracking is broken. See Verification Failed.

5. Explore

Once data is flowing, open Overview for your headline numbers, or ask a question in plain English with Ask Sonar.
