Understanding the Dashboard

Everything in Sonar is scoped to the site you have selected. Switch sites with the picker in the top-left corner.

Overview

Your home screen. It shows visitors, pageviews, conversions and average session length for the chosen period, each compared with the previous period. It also shows top pages, top sources and an AI summary of what changed.

Use the range control to switch between the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.

Sessions

Shows the visits to your site one at a time: where each visitor came from, the pages they viewed in order, and how long they stayed. Filter between Live, All and Chats. Select a session and click Generate summary to get an AI write-up of the visit.

Dashboards

Build your own boards from widgets. Each widget is a Metric (a single number), a Table or a Chart (bar or line). Drag widgets to rearrange them.

Ask Sonar

Ask questions in plain English, such as "Which pages bring in the most new visitors from Google?". Sonar writes the query, runs it on your data and explains the answer. You can browse popular questions from the community for inspiration.

Tracked links

Create short links and goals, then measure clicks and conversions. Each link has a QR code, and you can set up email or webhook alerts.

Live chat and Campaigns

Talk to visitors in real time, and group your traffic by UTM campaign.

Settings

Settings in the sidebar is for the selected site: tracking code, team access, excluded IPs, email reports and AI model. Your profile, appearance and billing are under the avatar menu in the top-right. See Settings.
